I have always enjoyed learning new skills, having self-taught myself web development and design before university. This project with Pearsons was an exciting challenge which involved creating a concept and visual language that would re-engage adults in learning and open up new job opportunities.
My concept for this project was to focus on locally lead support groups that could provide a network of like-minded people. These groups would be promoted as a 12-week programme to provide everyone with the necessary tools including; communication skills, networking, excel, word, outlook. However this could be further personalised by the extensive library of Pearson resources, which any user could use to expand their learning in any direction.
As part of the group learning, each person is given a Discovery book which contains skill cards earned by that person. These skill cards include bite-sized information about the skill to act as a reminder for that person.

A weekly group would meet to help keep people on track by providing opportunities for group learning. These groups would cover fundamental skills such as first aid and computer skills.

It was a real honour to be brought on as a Brand Consultant for the Veterans Raffle run by the Y.E.S Society. The charity needed a new brand that allowed them to expand their audience. The brand had to portray the charity’s ideals and aspirations in supporting veterans with mental health conditions.Next project
